The K-12 Outreach Initiative is a partnership with the University of Pittsburgh Health Career Scholars Academy.  This is an exciting 4 week long summer program for junior and senior high school students who live in Pennsylvania and are interested in healthcare careers.  The program exposes students to the healthcare delivery system, importance of primary care, career development research, and how to serve as a community advocate to address Pennsylvania’s healthcare needs and public health issues.

For the past two summers, MIDAS-Affiliated representatives have given fascinating presentations to students in the Public Health Concentration.  Below is a list of the presenters and their presentation topics:
